Terms of sale

These terms govern the sale of online memorials on forevr.fr and the supply of the physical QR codes that go with them.

The seller is JWDT LABS (JWDT), a French simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée) with share capital of €1,000, registered with the Montpellier Trade and Companies Register under number 105 743 884, with its registered office at 20 B avenue Aristide Briand, 34170 Castelnau-le-Lez, France. Intra-EU VAT number: FR51 105 743 884.

Three plans are available, each a single payment, with no subscription and no recurring charge:

• Souvenir — €19 including tax
• Heritage — €39 including tax
• Eternite — €89 including tax

All prices are in euros (€), wherever you are. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank converts at its own rate on the day of payment.

Every activation includes 3 identical QR codes, shipped within one business day, plus a downloadable QR file available immediately. The Heritage and Eternite plans also include a contactless (NFC) chip. Delivery terms and timings are set out in section 8.

Replacement guarantee. The QR codes are guaranteed for 10 years on Souvenir, 20 years on Heritage and 30 years on Eternite. Throughout that period, any sticker that is damaged, has come unstuck, or has become unreadable is replaced free of charge, on request to support. This guarantee covers replacement of the sticker, not its lifespan outdoors.

Every memorial created comes with a 14-day trial, with no commitment and no payment details required, giving access to all features. At the end of the trial, a memorial that has not been activated is locked: it is no longer publicly accessible, but its contents are kept and become visible again as soon as it is activated, however long that takes.

If you live in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway. Under Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have fourteen days to cancel your order, without giving a reason.

Digital content. Activating a memorial gives you immediate access to it. By expressly requesting this at the time of purchase, you waive your right to cancel that part of the order, in accordance with Article L221-28 13° of the same code. This waiver is collected through the checkbox accepting these terms, which states it explicitly, and is time-stamped with your payment.

Physical QR codes. Your right to cancel applies in full to the 3 QR codes shipped to you, which may be returned within fourteen days of receipt.

If you live anywhere else. The fourteen-day right above is a European statutory right and does not apply to you. Regardless, forevr applies the same terms to every customer as a matter of policy: fourteen days to return the physical QR codes from the day you receive them, and the same waiver on the digital memorial once it has been activated. Any mandatory consumer protections in your own country apply in addition to this, never instead of it.

Nothing is ever permanently deleted. Content added to a memorial is kept, whether or not the memorial has been activated. A memorial whose trial has expired is locked — no longer publicly visible, but intact, and it comes back as soon as it is activated.

From the memorial's settings, an administrator can download a complete archive at any time — photos, videos, audio recordings and texts, as their original files. For very large memorials, or while a memorial is locked, support will send you a copy on request. Deletion requests are handled case by case by support. See our privacy policy for how your personal data is handled.

Payments are processed by Stripe. No card details are stored by forevr. Anyone with access to a memorial can activate it, including someone who did not create it.

Support is reachable through the chat on this site. Exporting a memorial is self-service, from its settings; support steps in for very large or locked memorials. It also handles deletion requests and content reports, case by case.

Delivery is free, worldwide. No shipping charge is added, whatever the destination. The digital part of your order — the online memorial and the downloadable QR file — is available immediately after payment, independently of the post.

Physical QR codes are shipped within one business day. How long they then take depends on where they are going:

• France, Monaco, Andorra and French overseas territories — around 3 days in mainland France, 4 to 7 days overseas. Tracked to delivery.
• Served international zone — around 5 to 15 days depending on the destination, tracked to delivery. It covers the following 42 countries: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mali, Malta, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Togo, Türkiye, United States.
• Anywhere else — we will still ship, still free of charge, but the item travels without tracking or proof of delivery, and no delivery time can be guaranteed.

Customs. Items sent outside the customs territory of the European Union travel with a customs declaration. Any duties, taxes or clearance fees charged by the destination country are payable by the recipient.

A note for customers in the United Kingdom. We ship to the UK and delivery is free, but the UK is not currently part of our served zone: we cannot guarantee a delivery time, and orders are placed on the same terms as the rest of the world above.

These terms are governed by French law. This does not deprive a consumer resident in another European Union member state of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence, nor of the right to bring proceedings before the courts of that country. Consumers resident outside the European Union keep any mandatory protections granted by their own law. In the event of a dispute, we will look for an amicable solution first.
